George Romero's lost film may be one of the best he has ever made, and its' message is a very important one to see and hear, no matter how uncomfortable it makes you. 

Can't Stop The Music

A film title ironically, since this film came at the end of disco's popularity and was the first ever winner of The Razzie Award for Worst Picture. There is so much to unpack here with this film that, when you put your film snob-ness aside, is an absolute ridiculous blast. Do The Shake!

Once in a blue moon, a film becomes a cult film even before it gets released thanks to people. This is the case of the online fever around Snakes on A Plane when it came out. same can be said about Zak Snyder's Justice league, a film bullied into existence. 

 

Now that it is here, the question is: how good is it compared to the Whedon cut. we find out for you. 

Jaws 3-D

In the early 80s' 3D Cinema made a brief comeback. It was brief because of films like Jaws 3-D. That being said, we re-evaluate the film to see if it truly is the stinkburger it is said to be. 

The Pit

We travel to Canada, where apparently giant pits with man eating trogs are as common as hockey games. 12 year old Jamie and his possessed teddy bear help feed the trogs by making people just sacrifice themselves to the trogs it appears.

Noted for being Robin Williams' first major motion picture, Popeye was not well received when released in 1980. Many Gen X kids, however, clung to it. The question is, has the film aged well now that we have become bitter jaded adults? We shall see. 

Did We Survive Kirk Cameron's Saving Christmas?

Here it is folks: the last episode of 2020. And what better way to end a dumpster fire of a year than with a dumpster fire of a film. To say this film was rough to get through is like saying cats meow at you when they are hungry.

The Star Wars Holiday Special

One of the most infamous television specials ever created, The Star Wars Holiday Special only aired once: Nov 17, 1978. Made to capitalize on the sudden success of the film and sell the new toy line being launched by Kenner, this two hour event has become the text book example of how NOT to make a television special based on a beloved property.

 

The special was never given an official release on home video, and George Lucas did everything he could to destroy all master copies in an attempt to make the special disappear. What he did, however, was make the special more notorious and sought after by fans everywhere, creating one of the biggest cult followings in cult cinema history.

To watch this special is a right of passage for sci fi nerds everywhere, and thanks to youtube it is available to watch. Heck, even Rifftrax has a variation to watch as well. So get ready as we Light The Sky On Fire with Chewbaca's Family, a almost shirtless Art Carney, an unfunny Harvey Korman, a high as hell Carrie Fisher and Mark Hamill, a grumpy Harrison Ford, and of course Bea Arthur as herself.
